Operation Adelmo

comic opera Operation Adelmo
?The Clown Prince of Opera?
In the tradition of Peter Schickele and P.D.Q. Bach,
?OPERATION ADELMO? is an elegant evening of irony and arias starring Adelmo Guidarelli, the performer who Jerome Hines called, “The up and coming baritone of the decade”. His vocal ability and variety of style astounds even the most jaded theatergoer. This 90-minute solo entertainment takes you on a laugh filled journey into his world of music and mayhem – a world that critics have compared to Victor Borge and Anna Russell.
?This guy has a very special gift.? ? Ben Vereen
?I truly love what he is doing. Bravi!? ? Renata Scotto
?After all the clowning around, he really can sing.? ? Angelique Kidjo
“Adelmo is madness on two legs. I wish there were more like him in the music world!”
William Berger, author of Wagner Without Fear
?I LOVED this show. It?s a lot of fun and Adelmo-the man is a marvel!?
Ted Greenberg
(Emmy Award winning writer of The Late Show with David Letterman)
